HOW IT WORKS

BOOKING

Please enter in contact for any questions, we can agree a convenient date and discuss your intentions and objectives for the shoot.

BEFORE THE SHOOT

Once your booking is confirmed, I am on hand to answer any further questions and to swap ideas on locations. For my part, having a basic insight is an essential part of the preparation, so I try and find out as much as possible about you, and to give you some advice and suggestions on the types of clothes, colours and props to help you achieve your desired look.

ON THE DAY

On arrival my first priority is to make acquaintance with you, I find the bond created in these initial moments is the foundation to achieve some great results, luckily most Brazilian people are outgoing and personable, so making a bond is of second nature to me. For your part, all you need to do is relax and enjoy the moment, the rest will come naturally.

AFTER THE SHOOT

Once the shoot is complete, I immediately get to work on the preparation of your photos, I aim to have the first draft available for you within a few days, although during the peak times this can take a little longer. Once you have selected your favorites, I will complete a final edit, before delivering them digitally and on a USB stick.

LOCATION

My main advice regarding the location, is that it should combine with the style of photos you want to achieve, for example, do you prefer urban or natural backdrops? Or maybe you prefer to be at home or in your garden, perhaps where you are most comfortable, also creating a snapshot of your family life.

I am happy to suggest locations which will help you achieve your aims and objectives for the session, somewhere where we can find interesting and creative backgrounds.

If you are looking for a location with beautiful and varied backdrops, one place to consider is Newstead Abbey in Ravenshead (see below), these gardens are definitely worth considering.

NEWSTEAD ABBEY

With it’s main gate just off the A10, (Mansfield to Nottingham road) in Ravenshead (opposite the Hutt pub), the former Stately Home of Lord Byron has some picturesque settings, including a lake, a small stream, waterfall and Japanese water gardens, these make ideal backdrops for artistic images and the perfect setting for portrait photos. It is one option you could consider as a suitable location and could be combined with a home based session.
