PROJECT DRY LEAVES
About Project Dry Leaves
Leaves absorb light to give energy to the tree, just like the camera captures light to produce an image.
Over time, leaves grow into different shapes and sizes, as they adapt to different environments and situations, just as happens with people’s lives.
The “Dry Leaves” project is a work involving nature and the cycle of life, strongly motivated by the love and pain for the loss of my brother Álvaro, in 2019. It is a project of connection with something that is close to us, but also divine.
The leaves that separate from the trees after fulfilling their vital function are utilised as props in my shoots, sometimes painted, for a photo shoot that represents love, affection, life and harmony.
