Planning your session
Where do photography sessions take place?
Most family, couple and pet sessions take place outdoors across Nottinghamshire. Milena can suggest local parks, woodland and open spaces, or plan the session around a place that matters to you.
What happens if it rains?
Milena monitors the forecast before outdoor sessions. If heavy rain or unsafe conditions make the shoot impractical, the session can be moved to the next suitable date at no additional rescheduling fee.
Do you help us pose?
Yes, but the approach is gentle and natural. Rather than relying on rigid poses, Milena uses simple prompts, conversation and guidance to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
How do we book a session?
Send an enquiry with the type of session, preferred dates and location. A £50 retainer and signed digital agreement secure the booking, with the remaining balance due on the day of the session.
Do you travel outside Nottinghamshire?
Yes. Sessions can be arranged in the Peak District and selected locations across the UK. Travel within 15 miles of Nottingham is included; a flat-rate travel fee may apply beyond that radius.

Where do family sessions take place?
Family sessions take place outdoors in natural light. Milena can suggest favourite woodland, park and open locations across Nottinghamshire, or plan around a place that holds special meaning for your family. Travel within 15 miles of Nottingham is included.
What if the weather is bad?
If heavy rain or unsafe conditions make an outdoor session impractical, the shoot can be moved to the next available date at no extra cost. Milena monitors the forecast and will keep you updated.
How do we book?
A £50 retainer and signed digital agreement secure your date. The remaining balance is due on the day of the session.
Does my pet need to be trained or sit still?
No. Sessions are paced around the animal, with room for walking, sniffing, play and breaks.
Can family members join the photographs?
Yes. Pet sessions can include the people who share their life. Mention everyone involved so the location and pace can be planned appropriately.
After the session
Photographs and delivery
How will we receive our photographs?
Within 1–2 weeks of the session, you will receive a link to a private, password-protected online gallery where you can view, share and download the photographs included in your package. The Fashion Campaign Creative package has a priority 7-day turnaround.
Can we include our dog in a family session?
Yes. Pets are part of the family and can be included in many outdoor sessions. Mention this in your enquiry so the location and pace can be planned appropriately.
What should we wear?
Choose clothes that feel comfortable and reflect you. Soft neutrals, earthy tones and textured fabrics often work well outdoors. Detailed guidance can be provided before the session.

Can I bring more than one outfit?
The Creative Portfolio includes time for up to three outfit changes. The Professional Express is a shorter, focused update, so share your priorities before the session.
